Lorenzo Conforti (Tolentino, 1996) is an Italian painter currently living and working in Milan. He began his artistic training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and continued at the Brera Academy in Milan, where he developed a painting practice characterized by strong material and visual impact. His work stands out for its use of spray paint and oil on canvas, techniques that give his paintings a distinctive sheen and a sense of depth. His large-scale compositions often explore abstraction, emptiness, and light, creating immersive environments that invite viewers into a powerful sensory experience. Conforti avoids total abstraction, maintaining a connection to figuration, albeit blurred and transformed through painterly gestures.
His recent exhibitions include at Shazar Gallery Naples/Milan; Confort mental, Paris; Lusvardi Gallery, Milan; Palazzo Bronzo, Genoa; Otto Gallery, Bologna.
