Francesco Ardini (b. 1986, Padua) lives and works between Nove and Padua. His work explores ceramics as a living, unstable material in dialogue with time, memory, and landscape.
Through site-specific installations, fossil-like artifacts, traces of wear, imprints, and residues, Ardini invites us to reflect on the precariousness of the present, the interplay between the ancient and the contemporary, and the fragile balance that holds together what seems solid and what slips away.
He has exhibited at Museo Carlo Zauli (Faenza), MIC (Faenza), Valentina Bonomo (Rome), Federica Schiavo Gallery (Rome), and in international contexts such as the Jingdezhen Ceramics Biennale (China), Gimhae Ceramics museum (Korea), Yingge Ceramic Museum (Taiwan) and the Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center (Denmark).
